As you work on your lovely and joyful evidence assignment, you'll see that when it comes to Toulmin, most articles feature a whole lot of evidence and maybe a few or just a couple claims and frequently no warrant (remember they are usually implied). So lots of evidence,but what does it prove? That is up to you as the debater to stack your evidence (or grounds). To practice, give us a piece of evidence about a person close to you. Think about it for a minute and then tell us what this evidence actually proves about either you as their friend or them? For example: When I was visitting family in Manteca last week my brother didn't answer his phone or invite us over even though he loves to see Harper. This evidence proves that his house was a mess!

After about a year of social discussions and hanging out on numerous occassions after school with a former elementary classmate. I easily remember the first time when he invited me over for 4th of July block party. The party consisted only with close family and friendly neighbors. I specifically remember him telling me in front of some of his relatives during our BBQ dinner, that this was his first time he felt confortable inviting anyone from his school over to family gatherings. His family members elaborated by adding that they were happy to allow me into their party because they considered me a good friend.

One of my friends always comes to me for advice about the same problem with the same boy all the time. I keep telling him to get out of it because it's just going to cause him unnecessary drama, yet he still gets involved with the guy. This in turn stresses ME out and it also proves that my friend is thickheaded and stubborn.
I invited my friend to a kickback. She acknowledged it, but didn't say if she was going or not. She usually gives us a straight foward answer. This evidence proves that she is keeping her options open.

ME AND MY EX BOYFRIEND ARE REALLY CLOSE FRIENDS. WHEN WE ARE TOGETHER IT FEELS LIKE WE ARE STILL IN A RELATIONSHIP EVEN THOUGH THE TITLE IS NOT THERE. Last week while I was hanging out with my brother, he left his keys in my car. Right when I got back to Sacramento I got a call asking me to come up and give them to him. This week I visited him and remembered to tell him not to forget his keys and he did anyway. Whenever I give my daughter an istruction most the time she says "okay Mommy" but then she carries on with what she is doing, completly disreguarding what I have just told her, this prove that she is not a good listener.

okay 2years ago I was engaged to a person for a year I was with him for 3years..During that time he cheated on me 3times with every person I knew and one of them was my best friend.
